In the spring I spent a day in Weem woods looking for pictish remains( I posted some images then ), Cup and Ring marks on stones seem to be the only lasting remnant as everything else has gone back to the earth. I've been spending the last few days in Ardeonaig woods after a lecture I attended about pictish man habitating the Tay. The waters have preserved some logs that give clues to the look of the houses, but not the thoughts of the people. There is no firm theory that works for me as to why the doodles should be on rocks , so I have wandered looking for signs that might shed some light, according to the archaeologist the landscape is much as it was then, so I choose the trees as my starting point

Its a problem explaining too much, I know the journey I'm making is a personal take , I would be glad to hear from any-one that might have another view....
